A PDF converted to images often ends up shared more widely than the original — attached to an email, dropped in a chat, posted somewhere. NearPDF renders each page to JPG locally in your browser, so the source PDF itself is never sent anywhere in the process.
The export renders every page at about 1,650 pixels across — deliberately "print-ish": crisp enough to read on screen or print at A4/letter size without producing enormous files. There's no resolution picker yet, so if you need exact pixel dimensions, resize the JPGs afterwards (NearIMG does that on-device too). One conversion fact worth knowing before you commit: a JPG is a picture of the page. Text in the image can no longer be selected, searched or copied, and text-heavy pages can actually grow in file size — a PDF stores text compactly, an image doesn't. Convert when you need an image (previews, slides, sites that reject PDFs), not as a general storage format.
