Why rotate PDF pages without sending the file anywhere?

A sideways scan is sometimes the only copy you have of something — an ID, a signed page, a receipt — and uploading it to a server just to fix the orientation adds a risk that a purely local fix doesn't. NearPDF rotates pages directly in your browser.

How it works

1. Drop your PDF — each page shows as a thumbnail in its current orientation.
2. Click the rotate button on any page. Each click turns that page another 90°, and the thumbnail previews exactly what you'll get.
3. Rotate as many pages as needed — pages you don't touch keep their original orientation, so scans that mix portrait and landscape are fine.
4. Press Save and download the corrected PDF.

Rotation here is lossless — and why that matters

NearPDF doesn't re-render pages as images to rotate them. It updates each page's rotation property inside the PDF itself — the same mechanism your PDF viewer uses — applied on top of whatever rotation the page already had. That means zero quality loss, no blurry re-rasterized text, and the text stays selectable and searchable afterwards. It's the right fix for the classic case: a scanner or phone camera that saved some pages sideways or upside down. Correct only the affected pages, leave the rest alone, and the page contents are carried over unchanged rather than re-photographed.

Can I rotate just one page instead of the whole document?

What rotation angles are available?
